It was Isaac Newton who discovered that light alone was responsible for colour. An Eclipse Day provides a stratification of cyan blue, magenta and yellow glass that in turn creates a central glass column into a conduit of black light. This creative research project that sought to explore the connections and interdependencies of light and colour was selected for the 4th Villa Noailles Design Parade Exhibition.
